Tunley Athletic Football Club enjoyed a fantastic meal at the King William, Tunley, as part of their presentation evening on Saturday, 6th May.

Trophies were given for achievements and commitment to the club. Both Ryan Edmunds and Keane Tanner received two awards each – Ryan, the Referee’s award and Players’ Player and Keane, the Young Player and Manager’s Player. For another season, Chris Young received the top goal scorer, while most improved player was awarded to Gareth Roberts. Kath and Clive Doughty were given the Clubman’s, Bryan Moore Chairman’s and Billy Jones the Sportsman awards.

President, Derek Nutt, thanked all for their commitment to the small village club; Tom and Jess Watson of the King William for their support and hospitality, along with Pete Fear of Fear and Co for their continuing sponsorship.

Although a disappointing end to the season, the club continues to play in the Somerset County League Division Two for another season.
