Westfield Football Club were the opposition for Tunley Athletic on Saturday, 5th August in the annual Freda Hookings MBE Memorial game – this is the thirtieth time that the trophy has been played for.

Freda was President of Tunley for over forty years and Vice President of the Somerset FA. The trophy has been donated by her family to be played for between Tunley and a local football club in a pre-season match each year since Freda passed away.

The result was a 2–1 win in Westfield’s favour. Both Clubs would like to thank Keith (Flash) Lewis for refereeing the match again.

Players, friends and family gathered after the match for refreshments in Tunley’s Recreation Centre.
