On 23rd September, Beverley Nichols organised a wonderful 100-minute Zumbathon event, in memory of Sue Keogh who lost her battle with cancer, for Dorothy House, Winsley.

Beverley explains: "100 people did a 100-minute, sponsored Zumbathon at Writhlington Sports Centre on Sunday, 23rd September. The event was in memory of one of my dear friends, Sue Keogh, who sadly lost her battle with cancer last year. I have known Sue since the age of fourteen. She helped me feel welcome going into my new secondary school, Norton Hill, and remained a close friend throughout our adult life. She was a happy, positive person who many adored!

"Dorothy House, Winsley gave fantastic care and support in her final few weeks.

"I have been absolutely blown with the total everyone helped to raise today in memory of Sue – a staggering total pledged from the Zumbathon at Writhlington Sport Centre of £9,015.91.

"This is amazing and very kind of you all who participated, helped, taught and performed. Thank you from my heart," concluded Beverley.
