Avon and Somerset Police have charged a 32-year-old man with murder in connection with the death of Philip Jones.

Philip, 50, died at a property in Huish Court, Writhlington in the early hours of Saturday (June 16th).

A post mortem examination confirmed he died of multiple stab wounds.

Specialist officers are providing his family with support.

Meshach Caven-Thompson, of Abbey Church Yard, Bath, was charged last night (Thursday) and remains in custody. He will appear at Bath Magistrates’ Court this morning (Friday, 22nd June).
