A blogger for the Huffington Post living in Midsomer Norton has shared her experience of being verbally abused while out in the town with her two children on the international news site.
The article describes how she had racist language shouted at her whilst exiting Sainsbury’s. Following the article’s publication, Avon and Somerset Police have
assured residents that action will be taken on all hate crimes after a rise in reports.
