Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious collision in which a pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries.
The victim, an elderly woman, was injured when she was struck by a car near the church of St Peter and St Paul in Kilmersdon, at about 12.30 p.m. on Sunday last week (20th October). She remains in hospital undergoing treatment.
A 55-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and police enquiries are ongoing.
