Police are appealing for the public’s help following a burglary in Frome. The victim – a woman in her nineties – was gardening on Friday, 3rd August around midday, when someone entered her home and locked the door.

The suspect then took her handbag, as well as other items from the house. He is described as a white man, aged about seventeen years, 5ft 7ins tall, clean-shaven, with short, light brown coloured hair. He was wearing a t-shirt and shorts. The incident happened in the Cuckoo Lane/Cuckoo Hill/Innox Lane area of Frome.

Police would like to hear from anyone who might have been in the area on the day of the incident, who may have seen someone matching the description of the suspect.
