Road closures: one for Mendip drivers over the next fortnightThis is the period of preparation and anticipation of the birth of the Christ child. It will also, this year, be a new beginning for the Churches of Radstock and of Westfield as they link to form the Waterside Benefice with the Rev. Ian Rousell leading the two churches.
For St Nicholas, there will be a new pattern and timing of the services. The Sunday services will be at 11.15 am. The first Sunday of the month will be Morning Worship, Holy Communion on the second and fourth, with the popular Café Church now on the third Sunday. That will be held in the Church Centre Café. Fifth Sundays may well be an All Age Service; this is yet to be agreed. An early morning said communion is likely to be held on the third Sunday; the timing is yet to be confirmed.
Many other services will be the same and you are welcome to join us on the 5th December at 7 pm for the Carols by Candlelight, when the church is lit with candles and the Radstock Silver Band accompanies the singing.
Please see the Church noticeboard for further details.
