The village of Farrington Gurney will be holding a litter pick on Sunday, 6th March at 10 am.

The group meet at Farrington’s cafe (who provide pickers with hot drinks and cakes!). This time, however, pickers will be asked to identify where in the village we can plant more trees.

In December, we planted a line of birches along the A362 and more trees in the play park. These are helpful in reducing pollution, as well as for sequestering carbon. But we need to plant more – especially after losing trees in the recent storms.
