HRH The Princess Royal will visit Dorothy House Hospice Care (DHHC) for a Garden Party at its Winsley HQ on Tuesday, 21st June to mark the hospice’s 40th birthday and celebrate its care and support of over 45,000 patients to date in the community.

The Princess Royal will enjoy the first viewing of DHHC’s touring birthday

exhibition, supported by the National Lottery through the Heritage Lottery Fund. The exhibition highlights the mission of the hospice, from its conception by Prue Dufour forty years ago and its relevance now more than ever. She will also meet patients and their carers, Dorothy House staff and volunteers and supporters from across the community.

The Royal visit will be closed to the general public, but following the visit, the hospice will be opening its touring exhibition and film to the public. To find out more about viewing opportunities email: jenny.steele@dorothy house-hospice.org.uk.
