Road closures: one for Mendip drivers over the next fortnightThe event is being staged in recognition of the 30th anniversary of the opening of the Julian House Hostel, and to raise awareness of the many projects which the charity is now running; supporting homeless and marginalised people in Bath and further afield in the South West.
A spokesperson for the event said: “We would like to give people who support our aims and work the chance to celebrate this milestone achievement with us, in the magnificent setting of the historic Abbey.”
The evening event starts at 9.30 p.m. and will include readings and entertainment – the sponsored sleep-in part is entirely optional.
A special guest is set to recite stories before people staying for the sleep-in settle down for the night.
