An Outdoor Gym has been installed at Southfield Recreation Ground by Radstock Town Council, offering free access to fitness equipment to people of all ages and abilities.

The Big Local kindly undertook consultation in the park to ascertain which pieces of equipment would be most popular and locals can now use an Air Walker, Arm and Pedal Bike, Push Up and Dip Station, an Elliptical Cross Trainer and a Combination Pull Down Challenge and Seated Chest Press.

The Mayor of Radstock, Councillor Keith Tyrrell said: “We are pleased to have installed this equipment, and hope that it will be widely used and contribute towards helping to achieve a healthy lifestyle.”
