Chief Fire Officer Simon Shilton, said: "We want to encourage local people to find out more about the Service. As Chief Fire Officer, I want to ensure that local people can learn more about their local fire service and by going live on Facebook, we hope to make this more accessible to those living in our community."
In this session, presentations will include an update from the Chief Fire Officer focusing on the AF&RS budget, fire safety advice from AF&RS Prevention and Protection Team and insight into the role of the Business Fire Safety Team.
Simon added: "It's important to me that we are open and approachable as your local fire service, and I hope those that have questions send them in, or those that are interested take the time to listen to find out more about the inner workings of Avon Fire & Rescue Service."
