Bath and North East Somerset Council has announced further temporary road closures.
The council will close temporarily and suspend all parking to vehicles at Kilmersdon Road Haydon, Radstock, from its junction with Haydon Hill to a point outside of the property Waterside House.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road for carriageway reconstruction and resurfacing from June 15, for a maximum period of 18 Months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for a period of one week.
Alternative Route – Haydon Hill – School Lane - Kilmersdon Hill B3139 – Kilmersdon Road C662
B&NES will also be introducing a temporary road closure at Paulton Hill, Paulton from its junction with Brittens Hill to its point outside property The Kennels.
This order is required to facilitate ducted road crossing to new development, on behalf of Openreach on Monday June 15 for a maximum period of five Days. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for three Days.
The alternative route is Paulton Hill- Broadway Lane- Water Lane- Clandown Road- Winterfield Road- Ham Lane- Vice Versa.
