Well attended by members of the public and friends, the book signing at The White Post Inn, gave John the chance to exhibit his book and explain his willingness behind writing it.

John told The Journal: “I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who attended Saturday’s book signing. Meeting friends both new and old as they gathered for the signing made the day feel so special.

“I couldn’t believe it when I looked up from the table and saw the queue patiently waiting throughout the pub, it was amazing how quickly the time passed.

“Hearing all the comments and encouragment from others made all the hours of writing worthwhile.

“I hope the book will encourage others to persevere in achieving their own goals and always have a lot of positivity in their lives.

“I cannot thank you enough for all your tremendous help and support with the book and for your kind comments on reading about my journey.”
