Businesses and local schools are coming together to mark World Book Day on Thursday, 1st March. Bookbarn International has invited classes from three local schools to celebrate the big day as part of a series of events at its Hallatrow HQ.

Local coach company, Centurion Travel, has stepped in to take the children to the event – with each child being given their own free book at the end of the day. Bookbarn Retail Manager, Janey Thornton, said: “This is a really important day for us, giving local companies the opportunity to rally together in support of important causes.

“Centurion Travel has previously provided coaches for Bath Children’s Literature Festival, and they seemed like the perfect partner for the job. We are excited to collaborate to provide children with rich and varied experiences.”
