Road closures: one for Mendip drivers over the next fortnightThe fish and chips were served traditionally, in paper, with a splash of vinegar, and a slice of bread and butter to complete the Good Friday meal. Some of our patients need to spend time in hospital over the Easter break, and a traditional fish and chip lunch definitely brightened up the weekend.
A huge thank you to Anthony and his team at The Haynes in High Littleton for preparing the 22 portions in super quick time to ensure they arrived at the hospital nice and hot. Anthony also kindly agreed to provide the portions at a reduced cost.
The Paulton Hospital League of Friends kindly provided funds for the delicious treat for our patients. The League of Friends support many projects and requests for patients of the hospital and without their continued support, we would be unable to provide such comforts and amenities.
On behalf of the staff, patients and visitors, thank you very much to all concerned.
Vicki Smith, John Stacey Ward, Paulton Hospital.
