Either it was a difficult one, or some of you were a bit dusty after so long away from the Mystery Photograph! Only two people managed to come up with the correct answer – quite a few of you thought it could be The Old Down Inn, Emborough.

A big thank you to Roma and Jim Beck, who provided us with such a brilliant photograph of The Somerset Wagon, Chilcompton. The date of the photograph is unknown, but those with a sharp eye will have noticed the bus from Manchester pictured in the right hand corner, so perhaps it was a trip of some kind.

Martin Horler says: “Difficult one to start off with, it looks about 1950s and unusual to have a pair of horses pulling a coach – it should be a team of four.

“Flowers Brewery was, I believe, a Midlands Brewery and all their pubs would have been there. Having said that, I think the Royal Hotel in Manvers Street, Bath, was a Flowers House – but that is not it.

“I’ll have to wait to find out!”
