Many thanks to Rex King for supplying last week’s Mystery Photograph, which shows Purnells factory in Paulton. Rex believes the people in the photograph worked in the sewing rooms.
Well done to those of you who guessed Purnells correctly: Roy Barnes Val Rogers
A special thank you goes to Teresa Tarrant, who told The Journal: “The photo in The Journal dated 14th September was taken at Purnells Paulton before 1976 as my Dad, Kenneth Light, passed away that year and he is on the right in the boiler suit.”
Thank you also to Mr Keith Gillard, who said: “The photograph was taken in the 1960’s of Purnells Printing of Paulton.
“The suited man in the front is the Director, Mr Billy Harvey or as he was known, Mr Bill! I worked at Purnells for forty years!”
Can you guess where this week’s Mystery Photograph was taken? Perhaps you even know the person in the photograph. Please email: [email protected] with your guesses.
