People living in and around the village of Foxcote are being invited to an evening of Carols by Candlelight at St James’ Church.

The annual event will feature a traditional presentation of Nine Lessons, which will explore the Christmas message, as told in the Bible.

The service will be held completely under candlelight. Local Vicar, the Revd Matthew Street said: “Carols by Candlelight includes readings from the Bible in an effort to explore the reason why we celebrate Christmas every year.

This traditional occasion is ideal for the family in the run up to the festive season.”

Carols by Candlelight is at St James’ Church, Foxcote, on Sunday 12th December, starting at 4.30pm.
