Less than three in five A&E arrivals at Royal United Hospitals Bath seen within four hoursHe explains: “After completing my last painting of ‘The Pines Express Passing Radstock Station 1962’, I wanted to do a snow scene for Christmas. As I frequently have a drink in Midsomer Norton Social Club next door to the now closed Stones Cross Hotel, I thought it would be a good idea to paint this once thriving old Coaching Inn back in its heyday.
“With the painting now well on its way, I will continue painting this scene “live” in Midsomer Norton Social Club this Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. and every Friday and Saturday until Christmas, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. or until the painting is finished!”
Roger has over forty pictures already exhibited in the club and anyone wishing to see the exhibition, including his latest work in progress, is welcome to come along, browse and have a chat. For details, contact: 01761 411842 or: 07816 368790.
