Bygone Days Living History Talks, supporting Radstock Museum, will welcome speaker Kate Lynch in March.

Kate spent two years working with people practicing old trades and crafts in Somerset, making drawings and paintings of them at work and collecting their stories. She will talk about the people she has met and the ancient craftsmanship she has witnessed. Her charcoal drawings and paintings illustrate a remarkable world of history on our doorsteps. Her book entitled ‘Craft, Paintings, Drawings and Somerset Voices’ will be available to buy after the talk at a discount to those attending.

This is Kate's fourth documentary project celebrating rural work in Somerset.

This informative and enlightening talk takes place on Tuesday, 7th March 2023, 7:30pm at Somer Centre, Midsomer Norton. No Booking required.

All proceeds go to support Somerset Coalfield Life at Radstock Museum.
