Midsomer Norton Town Council are hoping that this Christmas brings back a return to more “normal” festivities! And with that thought in mind, we are hoping to bring back the Children’s Christmas Party that was first held in 2019.

This event will be free to all children who are resident in Midsomer Norton and are of Primary School age between 4 and 11 years old. All those attending the Party will

require a ticket, which will be allocated strictly to those in the order in which they apply. Numbers will be more limited than previously. You will need to bring the ticket to gain entry on the day.

This year’s Children’s Christmas Party will take place in the large hall in the Somer Centre, Midsomer Norton on Saturday, 4th December from 12 midday until 2 pm.

Entertainment will be provided by the much loved Rocky’s Magic Parties, and fingers crossed for an appearance from Father Christmas and one of his Elves! There will also be some festive arts and crafts activities to enjoy.

Food and drink will be provided for the children.

A short consent form will need to be completed before a ticket can be distributed.

This event will be going ahead providing the current Government guidelines with regards to social distancing remain as they are as of 1st October 2021, and unless there is a late change in the advice.

Temperature checks and hand sanitiser will be available at the entrance. Should you or your child feel unwell on the day, then we would be grateful if you did not attend. We will have a little something for any child with a ticket who is unable to attend on the day because of illness.
