To commemorate this remarkable milestone, the Church congregation, and her family and friends, gathered together at St. Peter’s for the Sunday service on May 8th, at the end of which Kathleen was presented with flowers, a letter of congratulation from the Bishop of Taunton and a commemorative plaque.

The day concluded with a buffet lunch and special celebration cake.

Kathleen commented: “What a day to remember. My thanks to my family and friends for making my 65th anniversary of playing the organ at St. Peter’s so special.

“The commemorative gifts were amazing.”
