The courses available range from skills for life which include problem-solving, team work, leadership, to skills for work which include English, Maths, ICT, to practical skills which include cooking, budgeting healthy living to employability which include CV writing, business start-up, specific training.

Clive Bennett, Employability Skills Co-ordinator at Bath College said: “Bath College are aware that everyone’s journey is different. That’s why we’re launching Life Academy.

“Life Academy will enable adults living in and around Bath and North East Somerset to take more strategic steps towards the career they want. The size of those steps and the direction will be up to the learner.
