Profits from the sales of their daily specials and soup have been going to the Disasters Emergency Committee. Angela Avola, Manager at the Hive Café said: “Our members wanted to do something to help. It is such a shocking situation in Ukraine and we hope the money we raise will make a difference”.
SWALLOW members learn skills in catering at the cafés which provide healthy nutritious food at very reasonable prices. SWALLOW provides a range of help and support for some of the most vulnerable members of the local community and this money will be used to enable them to continue their work.
