Housing and support organisation, Curo, has acquired the site at Maynard Terrace, Clutton, having been granted outline planning permission for 36 new homes. Curo has now applied for planning permission for the detailed elements of the development. During the application period, Curo expects to be active on site, undertaking surveys and off-site highway works.

Less than three in five A&E arrivals at Royal United Hospitals Bath seen within four hoursSubject to the detailed planning application being successful, construction work on the new homes is due to start from June 2015. Curo says it is committed to keeping disruption to a minimum and has written to households closest to the development site.
Over half of the new homes on the scheme will be designated as affordable homes for people with a local connection. The organisation says that less than 7% of Clutton's housing stock are affordable homes and the new development will almost double the stock of affordable family homes in the village.
Anyone interested in applying for one of the rented homes or to buy a shared ownership home is advised to register with the Bath and North East Somerset Council's Homesearch scheme. Curo will be providing regular updates at http://www.curo-group.co.uk/">www.curo-group.co.uk/
