The Diesel Multiple Unit (DMU) was much enjoyed by all who travelled on it as it allows a more forward looking view of the line as passengers can have a driver's view of the road ahead. Other events using this vehicle are planned across the season.

Over the course of the weekend all of the locos were in service including Joyce the resident steam engine and Austin 1 the guest engine for the season. The two shunters were also ably assisting their steamy cousins and pulling trains in their own right, both passenger and demonstration freight.

The Gala was a great team effort for the volunteers of all ages involved both on the rolling stock and in the retail and museum areas.
