This week we have a conundrum for you to solve. Julian Sheppard, once owner of Reflections in Midsomer Norton High Street, opposite the Island, would like to know if anyone has any information about a photograph he has found. He says: “My father, Stan Sheppard, is pictured here. He worked for Casswell’s in the 40/50s and was furniture manager.

“I am trying to find out what this event was. I know he played cricket for Midsomer Norton Cricket Club and as I said, worked in Casswells. I would dearly love to find out more.”
