“The big building on the right used to be the old school masters house, a Mr Chaplin at the time.

“Mr Denning, the local butcher, used to play the organ in the Chapel.”

Jeff Parsons shed some light on the photograph: “I think this week you are in Clandown with the former Wesleyan Methodist Chapel in Chapel Row, sadly now demolished. It was probably built around 1874.”
