Director of Sixth Form, Karen Ward, said: “We’re delighted with the outstanding results achieved by all our students. It is a reflection of the determination of the students and the support provided by our dedicated teaching and non-teaching staff, who go above and beyond to ensure success for our students. All youngsters who had applied to university have been successful in securing a place with many attending some of the best universities in the country. We are also extremely pleased that all students have planned destinations for next year, whether university, apprenticeships or a career.”

CEO and Headteacher, Alun Williams, said: “I am delighted by the achievements of Year 13 once again. They have done exceptionally well and better than any other previous year group. More students than ever are going on to university and the number of top grades achieved has again risen, despite the Government’s current agenda to prevent grade inflation. Year 13 have achieved a 100% pass rate with over 60% achieving A*–B. I’d like to wish all our Year 13s the very best of luck for what will no doubt be an exciting future.”
