CHILDREN from a BANES primary school are celebrating their success in a nationwide digital learning challenge.

Pupils at High Littleton C of E Primary School received awards after taking part in Discovery Education’s DoodleLearning Spring Challenge.

The DoodleLearning Spring Challenge is designed to keep children learning during the school holidays, by encouraging them to spend just a few minutes each day practising maths and English using Doodle’s innovative learning programmes.

More than 23,000 children across the UK took part during the Easter school holidays, making 2026 the Challenge’s most successful year to date.

Children who completed this year’s DoodleLearning Spring Challenge were rewarded with special certificates and badges, presented by their teachers in school.

Deputy headteacher at the school, Mr Gunning, said: “We were delighted with the number of children who engaged with the Spring Challenge this year. Using Doodle Maths allows the children to consolidate their learning as well as learn new content at their own pace.”

Designed to be used for just 10 minutes a day, Discovery Education’s DoodleMaths and Doodle English programmes use the latest advances in learning and motivational psychology to raise attainment and boost confidence.

Giving children a personalised learning programme, the apps are proven to improve confidence and ability. Filled with thousands of interactive exercises, they explore numeracy and literacy in an approachable way, giving children core skills they can use in the classroom and beyond.

Discovery Education’s vice president for international product, curriculum and content, Charity Lisko, said: “Congratulations to all pupils from High Littleton C of E Primary School who took part in this year’s DoodleLearning Spring Challenge.

“It’s fantastic to see your commitment to learning beyond the school day and we hope you’ll continue to build on your success by joining us in our Summer Challenge.”
