At Midsomer Norton Primary School, we have been celebrating words and books whenever and wherever we can.
From reading to Willow, our special reading dog volunteer, to visiting our local library six times a year, to listening to recordings of our teachers reading, to earning certificates; we have all taken part in sharing our love of reading.
We are very grateful to our wonderful PTA, who have bought us some new, exciting books to add to our already bursting library. Alongside our dedicated army of reading volunteers, including Sally Teall, who has so generously devoted her time and that of Willow to listening to readers.
With support from our academic trust and the Department for Education, we have been able to invest £7,000 in new reading books and resources!

We can’t wait to continue our journey and explore more brilliant books! Emma Awcock
