‘Island of Coins’ created to help victims of Hurricane Irma

Following the arrival of Hurricane Irma in the Caribbean, the pupils of Welton Primary School were keen to help those affected.

Their decision was to create a huge island out of coin donations to show their support for the victims. A particular well done to pupils Garesmitha, Mia, Isobel and Bella, who were responsible for organising the event.

The pupils counted up the money and raised an astonishing £370.
