The Science Cadets youth group, organised by the Bath Royal Literary and Scientific Institute, are appealing for any information that can be given on the trees of Queen Square, Bath.

The group are hoping to design a family trail around Queen Square, highlighting historic events, stories and some information about its beautiful trees.

A statement from the Cadets reads:

“We, the Science Cadets from the Young BRLSI, are designing an exciting family trail for our beloved Queen Square. We want to bring some fascinating stories, history and facts about the square and the beautiful trees in it to the public, locals and visitors alike.

“We are trying to gather as much information as possible, and we desperately need your help. Please get in touch if you know anything about the history of the square and the trees in it. Do you know when any of them were planted? Are any of them original? What stories would they be able to tell us if they could talk?”
