Less than three in five A&E arrivals at Royal United Hospitals Bath seen within four hoursAs part of their work within the community, the children organised and completed a fundraising event last summer to raise money for Dorothy House - a charity chosen by their Pupil Voice Committee.
The school were delighted to celebrate that they had raised an incredible £1,200 for the charity and Shula came in to celebrate this with the children, accompanied by a huge cheque!
Shula discussed with the children how Dorothy House raises money and the different things they do to support this. She also shared with them how the money they raised could support counselling sessions, therapy and even improvements to care.
The teachers and parents are so proud of all of the children for the responsibility and respect they demonstrated to others through this event - another fantastic example of how the school and community work so closely together.
