With the weather resembling something you might find in Narnia, World Book Day (last Thursday, 1st March) ended up not being as colourful as the annual event usually expects.
With snow falling and schools either closed or sending children home at lunchtime, the annual celebration of books and their characters either went ahead for a few hours or was delayed, with events taking place this week instead.
If your school’s has not yet taken place, you can still send your photos along to: [email protected] to feature in next week’s Journal. After all, it would be a shame for no-one to see those fabulous costumes!
