Chilcompton Golden Hour meeting last week started on a sombre note when members stood for a minute’s silence in memory of longest standing member, Audrey Strawbridge and also members Eve Hamlett and Tim Waterman.

The programme ended with 60s songs which members were able to sing along to, which was much enjoyed.
In July members celebrated the Golden Hour’s fifty fifth anniversary with a lovely meal at the hall, where Sylvia and David Rogers were thanked for organising the event as well as for their continued work during the year.
