Essential road repairs are taking place outside the main entrance of the Royal United Hospital, Bath, from Monday, 22nd August until Friday, 26th August.

Bus services will run as normal. Parking by the main entrance will be suspended, although drivers will be able to drop off passengers before parking elsewhere. All ambulances bringing non-emergency patients will need to use the Penn Hill Road entrance and will be directed to a designated parking area at the rear of the west block near the boiler house.

Diversion signs will be in place and traffic marshals will be on site to help patients and visitors. John Moore, RUH Buildng Surveyor, said: “We’ll be working closely with our contractors to complete this project as quickly as possible and with the minimum of disruption. We apologise for any inconvenience, but it is essential this road repair and resurfacing work takes place before the winter.”
