Norma Attwood has been collecting door-to-door for the British Legion Poppy Appeal in Westfield for 36 years.
Her Grandfather, Tom Leaman, of Meadgate, lost an arm in battle for The Gallipoli Peninsula in 1915.
When the British Legion began The Poppy Appeal in 1921, his wife, Rose Leaman, started collecting in the Timsbury area.
Her daughter, Amy Latchem continued collecting in the Writhlington district, and Norma has carried on the tradition in Westfield.
