Farmborough Flower Show will be held at Farmborough Memorial Hall on Saturday, 3rd September from 2.30 p.m. to 5 p.m., where competitors and visitors will be keen to find out who’s got the most impressive blooms, the best culinary skills, the most artistic flair or the most odd-shaped vegetable.
Farmborough Flower Show is one of the friendliest gardening, produce and craft shows in the area, that brings together people of all ages and interests, from gardeners, growers, bakers and craft hobbyists to show off their skills in return for the hope of being best in class and the opportunity to win a prize.
Visitors can expect to see superb flower arrangements, magnificent displays of vegetables, home produce, including cakes, bread, jams, marmalade and jelly, painting, drawing, photography, and crafts, as well as a range of wonderful entries in the children’s classes.
Flower Show Secretary, Be Wright, said: “Farmborough Flower Show is a friendly show, open to all, with the emphasis being on having a go and having fun doing it. The more entries received the better the displays and enjoyment for all; so if you have never tried, why not have a go this year? There are certificates, prizes and trophies to be won, but that’s not the aim for most entrants – for the majority, it’s just for fun!”
