The Journal’s Tim Cowley and his daughter, Rebecca Cowley, are taking on a nine mile walk to raise money for Breakthrough, a UK charity supporting survivors of trauma and abuse.

Rebecca told The Journal: “I have planned to do this walk for ages as I used to work with the charity.

“We have quite a team now and I am really looking forward to it and clubbing together and doing something for the charity I loved working for.

“I worked at Breakthrough for a year and am a massive ambassador for mental health so undertaking this will be really worthwhile in spreading awareness for the charities work.”

The walk will take place on Saturday, 3rd September, where Tim and Rebecca will be walking nine miles from the Bath Recreation Ground, with pit stops, activities and refreshments along the way.
