Food hygiene ratings handed to four Mendip establishments

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to four of Mendip’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following rating has been given to one restaurant, cafe or canteen:

• Rated 5: Strangers with Coffee at 31 St Cuthbert Street, Wells; rated on November 8

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And two ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:

• Rated 5: The Charlton Inn at 29 Charlton Road, Shepton Mallet; rated on August 25

• Rated 4: Oakhill Inn at Fosse Road, Oakhill, Radstock; rated on September 9

Takeaways

Plus one rating for a takeaway:
