There is plenty going on for younger visitors this Easter at the B&NES Council-run Roman Baths, Fashion Museum and Victoria Gallery.
Kids can get ready for spring by making a mini Roman garden, design colourful geometric patterns based on Eighties fashions, and create some arty Easter cards and collages to take home.
• ‘Glorious Gardens’ at The Roman Baths. Monday, 26th March, 10 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 1.30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Celebrate spring by creating a mini Roman garden.
• ‘1980s Geometric’ at the Fashion Museum. Tuesday, 27th March, 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 1.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. Admire the geometric designs used in 1980s outfits, and create your own using bright collage paper.
• ‘Easter Eggstravaganza’ at the Victoria Art Gallery. Wednesday, 28th March, 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 1.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. Create eggy crafts and cards to take home. Ages 3–11.
• ‘Picture Me’ at the Victoria Art Gallery. Wednesday, 4th April, 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 1.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. Use simple collage to create a historical portrait inspired by those in the Gallery. Ages 3–11.
