From the organisers of the remarkable Man Engine event comes a new day out for all the family. This Saturday, 2nd June, artists from all over the area will come together in a celebration of all things artistic for the Somer Valley Family Arts Day.

From 11 a.m. – 4 p.m., the field at St Nicholas Church, Radstock, will be filled with something for all the family to enjoy, including an interactive visual arts trail, food, music and street theatre performances.

Local artists will display a giant recycled fish created from plastic found in the river, there will be performances from local musicians, and local actors will be trained by The Natural Theatre Company to appear in a hilarious performance of ‘The Chain’. There will also be the chance to experience some of the best street theatre in the country as The Naturals and Bath Fringe bring the brilliantly entertaining Bedlam Fair to the event.

The Natural Theatre Company has continued its work with DNA Arts to provide opportunities for local artists to develop their skills and showcase their work. Entry to the event on Saturday is free.
