Especially for older learners, the Wellbeing College are running more free iPad courses at Midsomer Norton Town Hall. Look after your wellbeing by meeting different people, keeping your brain active and learning skills to help you stay independent and connected. Don’t feel left behind – you are never too old to learn!

The emphasis is on enjoyment and the course will be at a relaxed pace with time to enjoy a chat and refreshments in the break. Class sizes are small so that everyone gets the help and support they need. You will need to bring your own Apple iPad to the course that is set up ready to use.

The Beginners iPad course starts on 12th April for six weeks from 10 am – 12 noon and is for complete beginners or those who don’t really know what they are doing! This course will help you gain confidence using your iPad and master basics, such as connecting to Wi-Fi, changing settings, finding things on the internet, sending and receiving emails and taking photos.

The Moving On with iPad course starts on 24th May for six weeks from 10 am – 12 noon. This course follows on from the Beginners, but is suitable for anyone who has knowledge of the basics and would like to learn how to do more with their iPad. We will recap some elements from the beginners course and then move on with using the internet, organising bookmarks, editing text, email attachments, organising photos in albums and editing photos etc.
