There were fascinating tales narrated by master storyteller, Martin Horler at Chilcompton’s Golden Hour club last week.
Martin weaves historical facts and local landmarks into his stories and kept his audience’s attention with a phantom coach and horses and a ghostly highwayman’s ill-gotten gains. Riddles, too were part of the mix.
He was thanked for a lovely, suspenseful evening.
The next meeting on Tuesday, 14th November will welcome the Tabor Ringers at the village hall at 7.30pm; also, members are reminded to bring a Christmas raffle prize next month.
