Work gets underway next week to erect Christmas lights across Bath & North East Somerset.
B&NES Council’s Christmas lights will be installed in Bath City Centre, Combe Down, Larkhall, Weston, Keynsham, Midsomer Norton and Radstock between Monday, 15th and Thursday, 18th October.
People will see the city lit up from Thursday, 15th November to coincide with Southgate’s winter forest and magical wardrobe installation. It means the city will be illuminated in time for the Christmas Market, which runs from Thursday, 22nd November to Sunday, 9th December.
Keynsham’s Christmas light switch-on event is being co-ordinated by the Town Council, and will take place on Friday, 30th November. Radstock’s lights switch-on event is being organised by the Town Council for Saturday, 1st December. Midsomer Norton’s Community Trust is co-ordinating with local groups for the switch-on ceremony and Christmas festivities, sponsored by the Town Council, on Friday, 7th December in and around the Hollies Gardens.
