The community cinema returns to Midsomer Norton with three huge films this weekend.

First, on Friday, 25th May at 7.30 p.m. is Ghost Stories. This brilliant British film features fantastic performances from Andy Nyman, Paul Whitehouse, Alex Lawther and Martin Freeman. Arch sceptic, Professor Phillip Goodman, embarks upon a terror-filled quest when he stumbles across a long-lost file containing details of three cases of inexplicable ‘hauntings’.

There will then be two films screened on Saturday, 26th May. First up, at 2.30 p.m., will be the acclaimed director Wes Anderson’s animated film Isle of Dogs. Set in Japan, this film that will please audiences of all ages, follows a boy’s odyssey in search of his lost dog.

The third and final film screening of the weekend will be Funny Cow on Saturday, 26th May at 7.30 p.m., which charts the rise to stardom of a female comedienne through the 1970s and 1980s. From her troubled childhood to her turbulent adult relationships, the Funny Cow uses the raw material of her life experiences to bring her unique style of comedy to the stage. Maxine Peake stars alongside a fantastic cast, including Paddy Considine and Stephen Graham.

All films feature cinema-quality HD projection on the big screen, with full surround sound and comfy cinema seating.
