The Somer Valley Ramblers stride out into the New Year with great
expectations of enjoying and sharing even more interesting walks with those wishing to discover the many different aspects that our beautiful countryside has to offer including areas of outstanding natural beauty to those with historical interest.
Wednesday, 5th
January: 7 mile circular walk from Henton across and round Yarley Hill to the Nature Reserve across the Levels to Hurn. Meeting point: 9.30 am, free car park, Paulton High Street, BS39 7NW. If car sharing, face masks must be worn. Start point: 10 am, Henton Village Hall, Wells Road, Henton, BA5 1PD. Walk Leader: Peter G: 07974 925484.

Wednesday, 19th
January: 7.2 mile circular walk from Mells across pastureland to Babington House and onto Kilmersdon, returning along the Colliers Way. Meeting point: 9.15 am free car park, Paulton High Street, BS39 7NW. If car sharing, face masks must be worn. Start point: 10 am Mells Village Hall car park (found off Selwood Street and opposite Longfield) BA11 3PR.
